Four Bottesford roads get resurfaced. Cars there are said to be 'emotional'

Bottesford, your roads are getting a makeover. Resurfacing started on Monday 12 October on Bottesford Lane, Holme Hall Avenue, Charterhouse Drive and Audern Road. It's expected to take around four weeks, so it should be finished in early November.
The work is being done in phases, with temporary road closures and diversions where needed. Ah, diversions. Bottesford's favourite pastime.
The council says it has already repaired more than 18,000 potholes and improved roads in over 30 towns and villages. Cllr John Davison said: "I've been pushing to get these roads resurfaced for quite some time." He added that some surfaces had "deteriorated significantly" and needed proper resurfacing, not more patches.
SRN Verdict
Council leader Rob Waltham promised "smoother, safer roads". Bottesford drivers, enjoy it. Your suspension has earned a rest.
