Award-winning musical Come From Away lands at the Plowright for a week

Come From Away, the musical that won four Olivier Awards, is coming to the Plowright Theatre. It runs from Tuesday 3 to Saturday 7 November. It tells the true story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, when airspace shut down during the 9/11 attacks.

The town took them in. Strangers became friends. This is an amateur production, presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.

Tickets are £15 to £17. Evening shows on Tuesday to Thursday start at 7:30pm, with more performances on Friday and Saturday. Big West End musical, Scunthorpe prices, no train to London.

Even we can't be sarcastic about that. The box office is on 01724 296296. If you want proof there's still kindness in the world, this is it.
